Ny global rapport om anställdas ekonomiska trygghet och hur denna är kopplad till resultat och tillväxt.

62 % av tillfrågade i Sverige känner någon grad av oro över sin ekonomiska situation.

En av vår tids viktigaste socioekonomiska och politiska utmaningar är balansen mellan livslängd och arbete. Vi lever längre än någonsin och förväntas stanna allt längre i arbetslivet, vilket innebär att relationen mellan arbete och pension behöver förändras.

I rapporten Healthy, Wealthy and Work-Wise kartlägger Mercer tillsammans med partners som bland annat World Economic Forum, hur anställdas ekonomiska trygghet påverkar bolagets resultat. Studien är baserad på svar från över 7000 respondenter världen över och Sverige är inkluderat.

Rapporten beskriver bland annat vilka förändringar företagsledare tror kommer att ha störst inverkan på hur vi lever, arbetar och sparar, inklusive vilka strukturella och teknologiska förändringar som krävs för att möta framtiden.

"Time to retire retirement"
 

  • 57 procent av tillfrågade svenskar förväntar sig att fortsätta arbeta i någon grad även efter pensionsåldern eller aldrig gå i pension.
  • 19 procent har inte planerat för sin pension över huvud taget.
  • 31 procent förväntar sig att få framtida inkomst från både staten, arbetsgivaren samt eget sparande.
  • 90 procent anser att det är viktigt att få möjlighet att fortsätta utvecklas professionellt.

  • 2 out of 3 adults expect to live past 80, but only 1 in 3 are confident they will have enough money to afford to do so.

Hur Mercer kan hjälpa till

 

Endast 35 procent av tillfrågade i Sverige svarade att de känner sig ekonomiskt trygga. Dessutom är graden av stress för pensionssparande högre i Sverige än i de övriga nordiska länderna. Detta innebär att arbetsgivare, individer och politiker behöver arbeta tillsammans för att öka anställdas ekonomiska trygghet.

Den 24 janurai hade World Economic Forum sitt årliga möte i Davos, Schweiz. Här samlade Mercers CEO Julio Portalatin tillsammans med  Global Leader for Individual Health, Renée McGowan, ledare från offentlig och privat sektor för att diskutera hur ekonomisk trygghet påverkar individer och organisationer samt hur det långsiktiga pensionsgapet kan reduceras.
